Just in time (JIT - Tačno na vreme) je ekonomski pojam koji predstavlja strategiju smanjenja troškova u proizvodnji, gde se proračunom postiže kraće vreme skladištenja delova, repromaterijala odnosno sirovina ili samo izbegavanje skladištenja, te stavljanje istih u najkraćem roku u proizvodni proces. Time dobijamo na skraćenju vremena izrade pojedinih delova proizvodnje, sinhronizovanju procesa rada, faza proizvodnog procesa, balansiranju kapaciteta.
